MP CrossFit Tulsa 080416

 

REST DAY

 

 

Competitors Class:

1730-1900

Competitors class is for those members that want to take their CrossFit to the next level. All MP members are welcome to join this class. WOD’s for this class will not be posted on the website the night before. When coming to this class, you will be expected to have a basic knowledge of all CrossFit movements. Ideally, you are familiar with and can be responsible for your own scaling, if necessary. Those that chose to attend this class, please come prepared for any movement/exercise that can be found in CrossFit. There will be brief warm-up instruction, but basic knowledge is the responsibility of the athlete. Attendees will be encouraged to FULLY participate in whatever is programmed. This class is fast paced, demanding, and challenging. You will experience both success and frustration; but your skill level, strength, speed, etc will grow exponentially!

Choose a sport:

Run: 8 x 200m, rest 2 minutes

Row: 8 x 250m, rest 2 minutes

Bike: 8 x 600m, rest 2 minutes

Swim: 8 x 50m, rest 2 minutes

  1. 5k row: 21:50.2 Not a PR but not my worst either.

  2. Good 1st Thursday Comp Class…. didn’t pass out or black out.

    • WOD 1:
      Part 1: Completed all but total of 8 burpees
      Part 2: 77/210
      Part 3: 42ish/90 (130 lbs)

      WOD 2:
      5:44 Rx’ish, scaled HSPUs with Ab Mat and 1 towel.

      Thrustered out

    5:44 Rx’ish
    Partnered with Manny, all was Rx except Manny had to mod HSPU.
    Strong work Manny at your first Comp class!

  5. WOD 1:
    1) -17 reps Rx
    2) Rx, lost count at 100+ missed reps. Note to self: next time position thruster bar near PLU bar. Wasted about 6-7 seconds per round running across room and getting on box.
    3) was barely getting past clean at that weight since I was so sore, so dropped to 83# and was able to complete 4 rounds of all reps and then partial reps on other rounds.

    WOD 2: 6:44 Rx with team Spenky. Finally got my HSPU mojo back!
    That was rough.
