REST DAY

 

 

Competitors Class

1730-1900

Competitors class is for those members that want to take their CrossFit to the next level. All MP members are welcome to join this class. WOD’s for this class will not be posted on the website the night before. When coming to this class, you will be expected to have a basic knowledge of all CrossFit movements. Ideally, you are familiar with and can be responsible for your own scaling, if necessary. Those that chose to attend this class, please come prepared for any movement/ exercise that can be found in CrossFit. There will be brief warm-up instruction, but basic knowledge is the responsibility of the athlete. Attendees will be encouraged to FULLY participate in whatever is programmed. This class is fast paced, demanding, and challenging. You will experience both success and frustration; but your skill level, strength, speed, etc will grow exponentially!

CFE WOD:

Pick a sport:

Run: 8 x 200m, rest 2 minutes

Row: 8 x 250m, rest 2 minutes

Bike: 8 x 600m, rest 2 minutes

Swim: 8 x 50m, rest 2 minutes

  1. That cold concrete floor was insanely comfy after those 2 WODs on Saturday! 🙂 Clearly I have no problem sleeping anywhere.

    Did WOD’s 1, 2, & 4 of Fittest in the OK 2016.
    One of the toughest competitors class I have done.

    WOD 1: 120 Reps Rx
    WOD 2: 175# hang snatch and 175#X3 reps OHS
    WOD 3: Cap + 39

    I didn’t feel normal after WOD 1. Legs were smoked and never recovered. Legs have given out twice tonight at home. Reminds me of the after effect of Open WOD 15.5

  4. WOD 1: 74 reps. Started on the bike and it was the slowest thing ever. Took nearly 4 minutes to finish bike.
    WOD 2: 98# hang snatch (10#PR) + 98# 3RM OHS. Time snuck up on those OHS.
    WOD 3: 14:59 scaled

  5. WOD 1: 97 reps
    WOD 2: 108# 1 rep snatch and hang snatch and 123# OHS for 3 reps
    The time cap on the OHS snuck up on me too….
    WOD 3: 11 min scaled version.
